2006 Mid-States Treasurers Report June 17, 2006 |
On September 8, 2005 our Certificate of Deposit received $223.62 in interest. This amount was applied to the $6,425.93 CD bringing the total to $6,649.55. As of July 25, 2005 our checking account balance was $938.94. On August 17, 2005 I wrote a check to the International Dark Sky Association in the amount of $200.00 to cover a one year membership for the region. On August 21, 2005 I wrote a check in the amount of $203.97 to Carroll Iorg as reimbursement for a Mid-States Region table banner which was approved by majority vote at the 2003 business meeting. On December 3, 2005 the region received a check in the amount of $524.51 from the Astronomical League. This was a donation for our work in sponsoring the 2005 Astronomical League convention in Kansas City. As of June 17, 2006 the checking account holds $1,059.48. No changes to the petty cash fund have been made since the business meeting last year. I hold a total of $243.81 cash in the fund. The combination of $6,649.55 held in our CD, $1,059.48 in the checking account and $243.81 held in the petty cash fund gives the Mid-States Treasury a total of $7,952.84.
