2007 Mid-States Treasurers Report August 25, 2007 |
On September 8, 2006 our Certificate of Deposit received $231.40 in interest. This amount was applied to the $6,649.55 CD bringing the total to $6,880.95. As of June 17, 2006 our checking account balance was $1,059.48. On July 23, 2006 I deposited $122.22 which represented the region share of profits from the 2006 convention hosted by the St. Louis Astronomical Society. On the same date I wrote a check in the amount of $200.00 to the International Dark Sky Association to renew our membership for one year as approved during the 2006 business meeting. This gives us a total of $981.70 in the checking account. On June 19, 2006 I purchased postage stamps and materials costing $39.87. This purchase was made with petty cash funds. I now hold $203.94 in the petty cash fund. The combination of $6,880.95 held in our CD, $981.70 in the checking account and $203.94 held in the petty cash fund gives the Mid-States Treasury a total of $8,066.59. |
